- Working Time Directive - what are the implications in the workplace
- Dismissal - what are the employee's rights when a contract is terminated
- Discrimination - principles of sex, race and disability discrimination

Pauline Upsall. Pauline is a solicitor at the Birmingham
Settlement and a NACAB consultant in the Employment Specialist Support
Unit. Pauline has a number of years experience advising on debt and
employment issues within the voluntary sector. Pauline presents
workshops on Employment Law for Birmingham City Council on the legal
aspects of policies and procedures within the voluntary sector.
Pauline is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
