The course will be available from May 2002.

Aims:

  • To discuss what is meant by the term Financial Literacy
  • To examine how Financial Literacy can be incorporated within the context of Money Advice for clients.
  • To develop an action plan for delivering Financial Literacy training to clients in various settings

Course Content:

Includes examples of case studies where the clients could benefit from Financial Literacy training as well as straightforward Money Advice.

An examination of Money Advice practices within the context of Financial Literacy and the new OFT guidance on debt management/money advice practice.
